Today is Day One! I've managed to drink a bunch of water, but ate big bagel for breakfast today. Just ate 1/4 cup of wild rice and a few bites of chicken for lunch. I feel I need to make up for the bad breakfast I had this morning. I intended to get up early today to exercise, but since I went to bed really late that didn't happen. We have a date night (first in 6 months) so I won't be exercising tonight. Tomorrow I hope to post that I got out of bed early enough in time to get a work out in (5:30 am comes really fast). That's my first small goal....to get up and exercise tomorrow. If I take this one day at a time - it might work. Goal number 1 - lose 25 pounds. Goal number 2 - to run a 5k in its entirety without stopping. I know I can do a 5k with walking, but at the weight I am now there is no way I could run the whole way.

Hi I just wanted to wish you the best during this challenge. I am excited to hear how you do and I will be here in Texas cheering for you on your 5K run when you make your goal and get conditioned to running. That is an awesome goal, I plan to try to start running again after I lose a lot of weight. You can do it!!! :)
